NewSouth Window Solutions celebrated a groundbreaking at its new facility in Tampa, Florida last month, and the occasion gained attention from the government as well as the local press. Florida Gov. Rick Scott made an appearance, and Bay News 9 took notice of the event.
In its video coverage about the groundbreaking, Bay News 9 said that the site will host a headquarters and showroom as well as a manufacturing center. The source also spoke to Gov. Scott, who supported the NewSouth Window Solutions facility and mentioned the importance of business expansions to the state of Florida.
In an April 20 press release, Gov. Scott previously discussed the advantages this new building brings with it to the community and its significance to Florida jobs in general. NewSouth Window Solutions CEO Dan Ochstein also spoke about Florida business in the same statement. NewSouth Window Solutions' operations in Tampa date back seven years, the source said.
"NewSouth Window is proud to call Florida home," he said. "I'd like to thank Governor Scott for his work to help businesses like mine grow and succeed in the state. In just six years, we've gone from zero to 40 million and we look forward to expanding and creating even more job opportunities for Floridians."
In addition to Tampa, the company also serves other Florida hotspots and is a major replacement window provider.
