This policy explains how we collect, use, keep, and share information about you when you use our websites, applications, and services (“Services”).

This policy covers only information we collect:

  • When you use our Services.
  • When you contact us by email, text, chat, or other messages.
  • When you see our ads or use our apps on other websites that link to this policy.

This policy does not cover information collected by:

  • Us offline or through other websites or methods that do not link to this policy; or
  • Other companies, even if their content appears on or links to our Services.

Please read this policy carefully. When you use our Services or give us your information, you agree to how we use it as described here. We may change this policy from time to time. Check back regularly for updates. If you keep using our Services after we make changes, that means you accept the new policy (see Changes to Our Privacy Policy).

What Personal Data We Collect

Personal data” is information that identifies, relates to, or describes, directly or indirectly, you as an individual, such as your name, email address, phone number, or home address.

Here are the types of personal data we collect:

  • Account and contact information, like your name, address, email, phone number, and zip code, and other information you provide to us.
  • Device information, like your IP address, device type, operating system, browser type, and language settings.

Sensitive Personal Information. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined under applicable state privacy laws, such as Social Security Numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, health information, sexual orientation, or genetic data.

We also collect:

  • Statistics or aggregated information. We may combine information from many users to see general trends. For example, we might count how many people use a certain feature. This combined information does not identify you personally.
  • Technical information. This includes details about how you use our Services, like what pages you visit, how long you stay on each page, what you click on, and any errors you see.

If we combine this general information with your personal data in a way that can identify you, we treat the combined information as personal data.

How We Collect Your Information

Information You Give Us

We collect information when you use our Services. This happens when you create an account, ask for a quote, schedule an appointment, make a purchase, answer surveys, or share reviews.

Information We Collect Automatically

When you use our Services, we automatically collect some information. This may include your IP address, what browser you use, what device you use, and how you interact with our Services. This also includes information collected through cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies including details of your interactions with our Services, such as traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data, and which resources and Services features that you access and use.

We track your online activity over time and across different websites to learn about your interests (behavioral tracking). We may use this information to show you ads that match your interests. You can choose not to receive targeted ads by following the instructions in the “Your Rights and Choices” section below. This tracking helps us improve our Services and give you a better experience.

We use these technologies to collect information automatically:

  • A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you interact with the Services. You may refuse to accept or disable cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser or device. However, if you select this setting, you may be unable to access certain features of the Services.
  • Web Beacons. Some parts of the Services and our emails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit the Company, for example, to count users who have visited those parts or opened an email and for other related statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain content and verifying system and server integrity).

If the law says these tracking technologies count as selling data, targeted advertising, or profiling, you can opt out. Just adjust your cookie settings or contact us at privacy@newsouthwindowsolutions.com. Some features may not work if you opt out. See “Your Rights and Choices” below for more details.

When you use our Services, these third parties may also collect information about you:

  • Advertisers and ad networks.
  • Companies that analyze website traffic.
  • The company that made your device.
  • Your internet or mobile phone provider.

These third parties may track your activity across different websites and apps. They may use this information to show you ads based on your interests. We share some personal data with these third parties to help deliver ads that are relevant to you. To opt out of targeted ads, see “Your Rights and Choices” below.

Your Rights and Choices About Your Information

This section explains how you can control how we use your information and what rights you may have under state law.

Your choices about ads, marketing, cookies, and tracking:

  • Cookies and Tracking Technologies. You can set your browser to block cookies and other tracking files. You can also change your cookie preferences [HERE]. If you block these files, some parts of our Services may not work. Some browsers have a “Do Not Track” setting that can send a signal to the online services you visit indicating you do not wish to be tracked. Because there is not a common understanding of how to interpret the DNT signal, our Services may not respond to all browser DNT signals. Instead, you can use the range of other tools to control data collection and use, including the cookie controls and advertising controls described in this policy.
  • Promotions by the Company. If you do not wish us to use your information to promote our own or third parties’ products or services, you can opt out by contacting us at privacy@newsouthwindowsolutions.com.
  • Targeted Ads from Us. We use your information to show you ads based on your interests. We do this using cookies and similar tools. If you do not want targeted ads, you can: (1) change your cookie preferences [HERE]; or (2) turn on Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser. Your browser must accept cookies for this to work.
  • Sharing Your Information for Ads. If you do not want us to share your information with other companies for their ads, contact us at privacy@newsouthwindowsolutions.com. We cannot control how other companies use your information. These companies may let you opt out of their targeted ads. To learn more, visit the Network Advertising Initiative at NAI: How to Opt Out.
  • Location You can turn off location tracking in your device settings. If you do, some features may not work. We do not track your exact precise geolocation.

  • Access and Data Portability. You may confirm whether we process your personal data and access a copy of the personal data we process. To the extent feasible and required by state law, depending on your state, data will be provided in a portable format. Depending on your state, you may have the right to receive additional information and it will be included in the response to your access request.
  • You may request that we correct inaccuracies in your personal data that we maintain, considering the information’s nature and processing purpose.
  • You may request that we delete personal data about you that we maintain, subject to certain exception under applicable law.
  • Opt Out of Using Personal Data for Sales, Targeted Advertising, and Profiling for Certain Legal or Similarly Significant Decisions. You may request that we do not use your personal data for these purposes. Some states may also grant you the ability to learn more about or challenge those automated decisions.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.

Nevada provides its residents with a limited right to opt out of certain personal data sales. Residents who wish to exercise their sale opt-out rights may submit a request to privacy@newsouthwindowsolutions.com. However, please know we do not currently sell data triggering that statute’s opt-out requirements.

Important: These rights are different in each state, and there are some exceptions.

We will respond to a verifiable request within forty-five (45) days of receipt, subject to a one-time extension of an additional forty-five (45) days where reasonably necessary.

To appeal a decision about your privacy request, contact us using the same methods and put “Privacy Rights Appeal” in the subject line.

Global Privacy Control. Some browsers support Global Privacy Control (“GPC”), which tells websites you want to opt out of certain data uses. When we see this signal, we will try to honor your choice as required by law.

Shine the Light (California Residents). California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
