How Do You Clean Eze-Breeze Vinyl Panels?

Eze-Breeze has revolutionized outdoor living, allowing homeowners to turn any outdoor space into a protected sanctuary. Whether you’d like to transform a porch, patio, or garage, Eze-Breeze is a functional and economical solution.

What Is Eze-Breeze?

Eze-Breeze enclosures combine the outdoor feel of a sunroom with the ventilation benefits of a screen room. Designed with the utmost ingenuity, Eze-Breeze vinyl panels create an enticing living area that is shielded from both bothersome insects and unpredictable weather. Eze-Breeze features a lightweight window system with panels that slide up and down, allowing you to enjoy the perfect harmony between indoors and outdoors. By stacking the panels at the top, bottom, or middle, you can create up to 75% ventilation. You can also position the vinyl panels of the Eze-Breeze system to allow partial airflow near the top or bottom of your enclosed patio. Or, if the humidity is low and you want to enjoy as much of a cool breeze as possible, you can stack the panels together to expose the maximum amount of screen.

What Are Eze-Breeze Panels Made Of?

If you’re a homeowner who is seeking to elevate a living space, the construction of Eze-Breeze enclosures presents a transformative solution that provides both comfort and durability. Crafted with precision, Eze-Breeze vinyl panels are contained within aluminum frames. Unlike traditional alternatives such as glass, plastic, acrylic, or latex, these 10Mil polyvinyl panels don’t need to be covered with plastic sheeting or plexiglass during inclement weather conditions. They also mimic the elegance of glass and are available in either clear or tastefully tinted variations to fit your design preferences. Beyond aesthetics, Eze-Breeze panels are also safer because they eliminate the risk of shattering glass.

Customization Options

If you’re adding living space to your home, you’ll want your Eze-Breeze enclosure to complement your exterior color scheme. To ensure that you have plenty of options, we offer an array of:

  • Frame colors – You can choose from a white, beige, bronze, pebble khaki, or black frame to match your home’s exterior design.
  • Vinyl tint colors – Your vinyl windows can be tinted to provide additional privacy. Color choices include clear, smoke grey, bronze, and dark gray.
  • Screen colors – You can also boost your privacy and UV protection through a variety of custom screen options. Choose from lighter and darker shades of gray and charcoal, BetterVue®charcoal, and charcoal sunscreen®.

How to Clean Eze-Breeze Panels/Screens

The vinyl-glazed panels of Eze-Breeze porch enclosure systems are designed to last for many years, even with continuous exposure to intense sunlight. However, cleaning at least twice a year is recommended to ensure optimal performance. Here are some tips for easy cleaning of your Eze-Breeze vinyl panels:

Get Ready to Clean

Make sure your vinyl panels are cool before cleaning. It’s a good idea to hose off the outside panels to remove sand and grit. You’ll need a vacuum cleaner, a soft cloth, water, and your choice of Woolite®, Murphy’s Oil Soap®, or the manufacturer’s vinyl cleaning solution. Do not use alcohol- or ammonia-based products or dishwashing detergent, as they can damage vinyl.

Start With the Frame

Use the soft brush attachment of your vacuum cleaner to remove loose dirt and dust from the panels.

Tip Out the Vinyl Panels

Release the pressure catch on your panel system and lower all panels to the bottom position. Then release the side latches on the front panel and tip the top of the panel toward you. Use a chair to rest the panels when they are tipped out. (Make sure the bottom panel stays in the track.)

Gently Wash the Eze-Breeze Vinyl Panels

Rinse your panels with clear water first, then use your soft cloth to wipe them with a mixture of water and the solution you selected from above. Return your panels to their normal position after cleaning.

How to Lubricate Eze-Breeze Doors

Like any type of exterior door that’s subjected to moisture and humidity, Eze-Breeze doors also need proper care. After repeated use, hinges can become squeaky and the door can become more difficult to open and close, but there’s an easy fix. Multi-purpose lubricating cleaners like WD-40 or Alum-a-Lub should be applied to the hinges periodically to allow for continued smooth operation.
